Project Objectives

As padel continues to grow in popularity, sports clubs are evolving beyond simple court rental services into full community-driven ecosystems. Players are no longer just looking to book courts—they also want opportunities to train, compete, connect with other players, and track their progress over time.

House of Mayor Padel App was designed as a comprehensive digital platform that supports the full padel experience. The application allows users to book courts, join coaching programs, participate in tournaments, and connect with other players through matchmaking features.

In addition to booking services, the platform introduces a loyalty and ranking system that encourages players to stay active within the community. Users can also enhance their bookings with optional add-ons such as towel rentals, padel rackets, and balls.

The design process focused on building a platform that combines sports booking, player development, and community engagement into a unified mobile experience.

Project Objectives

The main objective of the House of Mayor Padel App was to create a centralized platform where players can easily access all club services without relying on manual booking or fragmented communication channels.

One of the key design goals was to simplify the process of booking courts and participating in club activities. Players should be able to reserve courts, register for coaching sessions, or join tournaments through a clear and intuitive booking flow.

Another important goal was to support player engagement beyond court reservations. Features such as matchmaking, tournaments, and player ranking systems were designed to foster a stronger community around the sport.

The platform also aimed to provide flexible service options, allowing users to include equipment rentals or additional services directly within their booking process.

Ultimately, the product aims to transform the club experience from a simple facility booking system into a digital sports community platform.

Understanding the Users

The primary users of the platform include padel players of various skill levels, ranging from beginners exploring the sport to experienced players looking for competitive matches and training opportunities.

Beginner players often seek coaching sessions and private training to develop their skills. These users need an easy way to discover available coaching programs and book sessions with instructors.

Intermediate and advanced players, on the other hand, are more interested in matchmaking and tournaments, where they can compete with other players and improve their ranking.

Another user segment includes regular club members who frequently book courts and expect a fast and reliable reservation process. For these users, efficiency and convenience are critical factors.

Research insights suggested that players value platforms that not only allow them to book facilities but also help them connect with other players and track their progress within the sport.

Defining the Problem

Initial exploration highlighted several challenges within the traditional sports club booking process.

Many clubs still rely on manual booking systems through messaging applications or phone calls, which can create confusion around court availability and booking confirmation.

Players also face difficulties finding suitable opponents or participating in organized matches unless they are already part of an established social circle within the club.

Additionally, services such as coaching programs, tournaments, and equipment rentals are often managed separately, leading to a fragmented user experience.

Problem Statement

Padel players need a centralized platform that allows them to book courts, access training programs, participate in competitions, and connect with other players within a single digital ecosystem.

How Might We

  • How might we simplify the process of booking courts and club services?

  • How might we help players find suitable opponents through matchmaking?

  • How might we encourage player engagement through rankings and loyalty systems?

Results & Key Takeaways

The final concept of the House of Mayor Padel App presents a digital platform that combines sports facility booking with community engagement and player development.

By integrating court reservations, coaching services, tournaments, and matchmaking into a single system, the platform creates a more connected experience for padel players.

The introduction of ranking and loyalty systems helps encourage long-term engagement by rewarding players for their participation and progress within the club.

One of the key insights from this project is that sports platforms should not only focus on facility management but also support the social and competitive aspects of the sport. Building a community around the activity can significantly enhance user engagement.

Future improvements could include performance tracking, player statistics, and social features that allow users to form teams or organize matches more easily.
