Rustic Padel - Designing a seamless sports facility booking experience

Project Objectives

Sports facilities such as padel courts, pickleball courts, and wellness spaces are becoming increasingly popular in urban communities. However, booking these facilities is often still handled manually through messaging apps or fragmented reservation systems, making the process inefficient for both customers and facility managers.

Rustic Padel was developed as a digital platform that allows users to easily book sports facilities and wellness services in one place. The application enables users to reserve padel courts, pickleball courts, and wellness facilities such as sauna and cold plunge sessions, while also supporting membership subscriptions and equipment add-ons.

The platform introduces a booking window system, allowing users to view available time slots in real time and schedule reservations accordingly. In addition to facility booking, users can also add supporting items such as towels, padel rackets, and balls during the reservation process.

From a design perspective, the goal was to create a booking experience that feels simple and intuitive while still accommodating multiple services and add-on options within the same flow.

Understanding the Users

Ideation & Solution Exploration
